On the 12th of July, 2025, the Gambia Academy had its annual Parents & Teachers Meeting. This was a big day for the students because it marked the end of the school term, and students were issued their end of term exam results and certificates. During the Parent & Teachers Meeting, Dr Sona reinforced to the parents that we want our students to graduate with a career, not a piece of paper. That’s the mission of the Gambia Academy, graduating with a certificate doesn’t mean you’re done, it simply marks what you’ve achieved, not all you’re capable of.
