Hopper is so tranquila, we were able handle her with only one hand while cleaning up her little foot 😅. In a couple of days we will take her nto the city (6hrs) to Hospital Veterinario Agromédica so Dr. Lucas can see what’s going on and do a possible surgery. We are in need of donations as it will be an expensive trip. Welcome to the PARROT RESCUE CENTERof COSTA RICA Did you know it39s estimated that one out of every four households in Costa Rica have an illegal parrot. Since 2013 Parrot Rescue Center of Costa Rica has been working to rescue rehabilitate and release any wildlife that comes through our doors. We have a sanctuary with 60 parrots that we are not able to release so they can enjoy being among their own species in large enclosures for the rest of their lives. Some of our other goals include reforestation and educating the public and expanding the facility to continue our mission.
