💦 How exciting is this! We recently began installing hydroponic gardens in several of our communities. The units allow us to grow fresh produce solely in a water-based solution rather than needing soil. This week, we harvested the greens we'd planted not long ago at Carolina Senior Living in Lexington, NC, and prepared them for our residents. 🥬 🥗 We made a caesar salad with the lettuce, and Glen Berkel, our senior director of hospitality, cooked bok choy so folks could see the different ways that greens can be prepared and enjoyed.
