As students return to classrooms and competition, HRS is advancing safety through advocacy and action. The Society continues to support funding the HEARTS Act to expand CPR and AED training, joined the CPR & AED Awareness Rally and March in Washington, DC, and partners in the Smart Heart Sports Coalition with the NFL to expand AED access in youth sports. This SCA Awareness Month, HRS is highlighting how awareness leads to impact. The Society has: ✅ Supported the HEARTS Act to expand CPR and AED training in schools ✅ Joined the National CPR & AED Awareness Rally and March in Washington, DC ✅ Trained convention center and hotel staff in CPR/AED use before Heart Rhythm 2025 ✅ Partnered with the Smart Heart Sports Coalition to promote AED access in youth sports These efforts reflect HRS’ commitment to improving survival through early intervention.
