Today we ended our Halloween fun with a visit from students of the Osceola Intermediate School who brought in some pumpkins they decorated for our residents to enjoy! They did such an amazing job! We had some super cute little trick or treaters stop by for some candy, a staff pumpkin decorating contest, a costume contest, and our Halloween/October Birthday Party! Our costume contest participants/groups included: The Crazy Cat Lady & All Her Cats Peanut Butter & Jelly The Scooby Doo Gang Where’s Waldo And with the loudest round of applause, the winner was…. The Scooby Doo Gang! Based on votes received the winners of the pumpkin decorating contest were… 1st Place: Fallen Witch In Caldron (#7) 2nd Place: Pinocchio (#6) 3rd Place: Owl (#2) Great job to all the participants of both contests! Christian Community Homes Services CCHS was born out of the desire and need to have a nursing home remain in Hudson WI. Launched by the Hudson United Methodist Church and supported by the Hudson community what began as a skilled nursing community for seniors has now turned into a full campus that includes both longterm and transitional care along with independent living in WinterGreen assisted living at Pine Ridge and a secure and safe memory care in Pine Ridge Gardens.
