Illness is universal but access to healthcare is not Grace Community Health and Wellness Organization is a registered 501c 3 non profit organization established on June 10 2020 when Uganda and the world at large was being confronted by the COVID19 pandemic. Our resolve is to rise above this health crisis and focus on improving the overall accessibility affordability and availability of basic healthcare and wellness services in rural communitiesOur initiative journey began in 2019 by carrying out a needs assessment and deep ground research on how to improveaccess to compassionate highquality healthcare in the rural communitythat was already experiencing poverty. Who we are Grace Community Health and Wellness Organization GCHAWO A communitybased health and wellness organization that focuses on promoting healthcare in rural communities in Uganda. Located in Kalungu district Uganda East Africa about 130km from Kampala Established in 2020 Currently serves more than 200 individuals GraceCHAWO is a registered 501c 3 non profit organization in Uganda and in the USA with an EIN 853963930.
