The National Latino Behavioral Health Conference keeps coming up in our team conversations – and for good reason. Our team didn't just present on strategies for supporting Hispanic families through substance use challenges. They engaged in real dialogue about what's working, what's not, and what needs to change. The truth is, we can't create meaningful resources without these conversations. Without hearing directly from the leaders and families doing this work every day. Without understanding that "culturally responsive" means more than translation – it means continuous and intentional thought about our entire approach. To our presenting team: thank you for representing the Partnership with authenticity and expertise. Your work is creating ripples that extend far beyond that conference room.
