Create Now, empowering underrepresented youth through art, education, and mentoring. *Create Now is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that has reached 50,000 of the most vulnerable kids in Southern California. Create Now empowers youth through arts education and mentoring. We guide young people from ages 3 to 24 by introducing them to all creative expressions, teaching job skills and providing opportunities that can help them lead successful lives. We also bring families and neighbors together through arts events that strengthen our community. We especially target the "forgotten children," those abused, neglected, orphaned, homeless, incarcerated and dealing with similar challenges. Through our network of 175 partner agencies like shelters, foster group homes, rehab centers, Title 1 and continuation schools, Create Now has reached more than 50,000 youth in 25 years.
