Saturday night at the NW Spectacular, OHJA and BENDing Line Farm were proud to present the very first Sazerac Legacy Grant, created in memory of the unforgettable Sazerac. This grant honors a Junior rider who embodies horsemanship, sportsmanship, tenacity, and brilliance in their pursuit of their goals. We are thrilled to announce Ayla Notowitz as the inaugural recipient. Known for her dedication to her horses, resilience, and kindness toward her peers, Ayla truly represents the spirit of this award. Her mother, Beth, and trainer, Akiko Hamada, accepted the award on her behalf. Congratulations to Ayla as she heads to the USHJA Zone Team Jumper Challenge with her horse, Telchac LS. Zach’s legacy lives on through riders like Ayla, and we are honored to celebrate his memory in this meaningful way. 💙 (fb)
