Thank you so much to the Port Jefferson Rotary Club for their generous support for Sunshine. I shared the wonderful work we are doing at Sunshine and enjoyed a nice luncheon at Cafe' Spig in Mount Sinai. Pictured with Dr. Carter is Kimberly Manise, Co-President. (fb)
Dr. Carter visited with the students from Ms. Foster’s 5th grade class at Boyle Road School with mascot, Gregory to talk about opportunities to work together this year. The students will be a part of a Puppet Production Crew to learn important prevention-focused lessons and bring the puppet lessons to the younger elementary students. They will be a part of various community service projects and also participate through the year in creative prevention-focused workshops run by high school students in our alternative education program.
