What a turnout for this year’s Youth Empowerment Seminar! Over 100 eager students participated in YES this past weekend, and hopefully went home learning a little bit more about how to “enjoy the process” and relish the grind every day to developing oneself into whatever professional and personal success looks like for them. Thank you to our amazing speakers, Jaewon Jung, Mangyu Choe, and David Lee, for spotlighting the highs and lows of their profession and the winding journey they took to get where they’re at currently. Thank you to our incredibly bright college student panelists for spending the day with our young students to give them insights into what they have to look forward to in their immediate future, and planting in their minds to achieve small goals that lead to the next goal. A huge thanks to the Texas Instruments, Korea Overseas Foundation and Korean Consular Office of Korea in Dallas for their ongoing support to hold this event and invest in the lives of future generations of Korean-Americans. Also want to welcome our new partner, DK Foundation with @dknet730. We are truly looking forward to fostering this relationship to continue to invest in the DFW community and impact our future leaders. And lastly, we are thankful to @sandmanhotels in Frisco for hosting us year in and year out and providing great service.
