As the NM State Fair winds down today, SCCV would like to thank Dan Mourning, General Manager, for the opportunity to be the Ambassadogs for another year! This was SCCV's 9th year to do this. We also would like to thank everyone who took time to visit with our wonderful dogs. This is always a fun and exhausting event for our dogs and human handlers as well! We had 23 Therapy Dog Teams cover the fair, morning and evening shifts. In addition to being at the fair, we also had our weekly visiting commitments, such as hospital visits, assisted living, Rehab centers, Libraries, hospice, taking trainees on training visits, etc. Whether it be on a weekly, twice a month, once a month visit(s), SCCV covers 31 different facilities. SCCV dogs stay busy! Today, however, all of the SCCV dogs are at home getting a much-deserved day off. We look forward to seeing you in September 2026! (fb)

Knuckles Malone, Nellie Jean and Shiloh will be the last of the NM State Fair Amassadogs as the fair comes to close. They will be walking around looking for attention from 5:30-7:30pm. Stop and say hello to them! (fb)
