A 105-year-old, dynamic, progressive Congregation of The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, wher Hill Avenue Grace Lutheran Church offers our members diverse opportunities to serve God's people beyond our congregation. Grace Food Shelf is an important ministry and an outreach to the Pasadena community. Open rain or shine every Saturday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and staffed by volunteers from our congregation, Grace Food shelf provides food to the homeless, individuals and families with children. We fed 5,000 people in 2019 with 2,600 bags of food given out to those in need. Part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America ("God's Work. Our Hands."), Hill Avenue Grace Lutheran Church strives in our mission and outreach to model our five guiding principles: Jesus is Lord, All are Welcome, Everyone has a Gift, Practice Grace, and Love Changes People.
