Poor Jackie at just 9 weeks old can’t watch a break. She had 2 rounds of antibiotics when her eye became infected. It cleared up both times. When it happened the third time this past Friday, once again we contacted the vet and they put her on another round with a different anabiotic, however overnight it ruptured leaving our foster completely freaked out and rushing her to the vet. At the end of the video you can see that the quote for surgery is 1156!!!! We are already on the brink of losing our Vet privileges because we can barely keep up with paying down the bill before another emergency happens. Mercedes is good with other animals, quiet in her crate, and warms up to new humans pretty quickly. She is a maltese/poodle mix and will require regular grooming.
