Breaking bread is something that’s so important to us at PiRI. It’s not just about sharing a meal and chatting at the table, it carries a deeper symbolic meaning of community and togetherness. If you have the chance to come to any of our trainings, we will provide food as often as we are able and we’ll share stories and food. We had a wonderful training this past week on Facilitating Circles and enjoyed the company and the gifts of a beautifully diverse group of folks doing all kinds of good work in Rochester. The roots of the word, “companion” mean literally, together with bread. Companionship is our favorite way to be. (fb)
