She enjoys playing with toys and going on walks. What she really enjoys though is being with people. #spotlightsunday this week is Maddie!! Maddie has been at CARL for a while and like any dog who has waited for their forever home for a long time, it’s starting to wear on her spirit. Normally a bouncey happy girl who does the zoomies when you come to see her, Maddie has started spending more time in her dog house and losing excitement at meal times. Poor Maddie has breed, color, and size stigmas working against her but I know she’d make a fantastic companion if she just got a chance. She is a funny, confident and curious dog. Maddie would do best in a semi-active home, she’s a big girl so someone able to handle her for daily walks. She walks well on leash but sometimes she forgets her manners when there’s something she really wants to smell. Also because of her size and exuberant zoomies a home with older children and no other pets would be best!
