We recently celebrated the launch of two cutting-edge robotic surgery rooms at the St. Joseph's Hospital, offering an exclusive behind the scenes tour where supporters were able to get up close with "Jamie" and "Mona", our da Vinci robotic systems. It was inspiring hearing from Dr. Meyers and her leading team on how robotic surgery - with its enhanced 3D visualization, tremor filtering, and precision wristed instruments - is not just the future - it's here, transforming patient care with smaller incisions, faster recovery, and fewer complications. We are especially proud to highlight and celebrate women leading the charge in robotics. Their leadership is paving the way for the next generation of surgical innovators. This Christmas in July, we're celebrating courage, joy, and the incredible journey of 3-year-old Parker B. from Tarpon Springs, FL! 🎁 Support Parker’s fundraising efforts at: https://secure.qgiv.com/event/2025cij/team/996368/ Parker is one of our spotlight patients for this year’s Christmas in July campaign. At 20 weeks pregnant, Parker’s family learned he had Aortic Stenosis - and they’ve trusted St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital with his care ever since. Parker spent the first three weeks of his life in the PICU. After two unsuccessful valvuloplasty procedures, his care team recommended the Ross Procedure. On July 19, 2024, Parker underwent open-heart surgery and today, he’s doing wonderfully thanks to the dedicated care of his team at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. His family says what makes the hospital truly special isn’t just the expert medical care, but the people. From nurses who made sure Parker was always comfortable to Child Life staff who brought laughter and play into his days, every team member treated Parker like their own.
