Young Musicians of Baltimore audition registration is open for our 20252026 concert season. click here for audition registration Young Musicians of Baltimore YMOB BALTIMORES Youth CHamber Orchestra Young Musicians of Baltimore Youth Orchestra YMOB is a Maryland youth orchestra featuring talented string players ages 1218 who are dedicated to promoting artistic vitality in the Baltimore metropolitan area through adventurous programming building musical community and transforming lives through the arts. Under the artistic leadership of music director Doug Jameson and codirector Melissa Hullman youth orchestra musicians explore chamber orchestra repertoire ranging from the 17th century to the present day. YMOBs low facultystudent ratio and individualized feedback gives musicians the opportunity to hone their technique and interpretive skills beyond what is possible as members of a larger string section.
