Supporting students to learn thrive and lead our city. The Birmingham Promise connects city school students with workforce experience and postsecondary opportunities to enhance their economic mobility. The Birmingham Promise has provided over 11M in tuition assistance to over 1600 graduates. The Birmingham Promise provides up to four years of tuition assistance for graduates of Birmingham City Schools to attend any public twoyear or fouryear college or university in Alabama.
