Meet Kristina, Residential Supervisor at Evergreen! Kristina just celebrated an incredible 10-year milestone with Evergreen! In her role, she helps students achieve their IEP goals, conducts skill assessments, and organizes community outreach experiences. She also supervises both her students and the staff in our Chapin residential unit. Before joining Evergreen, Kristina was studying to become a police officer with dreams of becoming a detective. Then a friend introduced her to Evergreen. The experience made such a lasting impression that she decided to change career paths to pursue special education. Inspired by her close bond with her brother who has autism, Kristina found deep fulfillment in this work. As she puts it: "There is something so special about working with our students that I wouldn’t change for the world.” Thank you, Kristina, for all you do in support of our students and staff.
