Island Girls Juniors Softball did it!!!! Congratulations District 11 Champions, the Island Girls!! What a game it was! Their opponents, Diamond Dynasty, a great competitive group of girls! Those girls from South Skagit and Sedro gave the Island girls a great series. Thank you for being great competitors! Both teams showed great sportsmanship, grit, teamwork, positivity, cheering, and heads up plays! Your teammates, family, friends, and coaches are so proud of all of you! Island Girls move onto State on July 5 in Woodinville to play against District 6. As always - big thank you to the best district team of volunteers - District 11 Director, staff, and umpires. (fb)
