We'll read online this time due to the pandemic: * "The Normal Heart" depicts the rise of the HIV/AIDS crisis in New York City between 1981 and 1984, as seen through the eyes of writer/activist Ned Weeks. We will read this play in honor of World AIDS Day, the International Day of Persons With Disabilities, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Anniversary. Content Warning: this play include portrayals of illness and death from AIDS, as well as vulgar language, homophobia, transphobia, disability discrimination, and the negligent response of government officials and others. Please RSVP and answer the question with your email address so that we can send you a PDF file of the script. Please arrive on time and be prepared to read the play, which will take at least 3 hours. If there is time, we can discuss the play after the reading. Everyone is welcome to read a part. If you'd prefer a particular role, please let us know in response to the RSVP question.
