Please join us in welcoming Dr. Elisa Monti as our new Program Manager for the Vital Sounds Initiative. Elisa holds a PhD from The New School for Social Research and specializes in the link between trauma and voice. She’s certified in the Montello Method for Performance Wellness and Vocal Psychotherapy, and has dedicated her career to helping people heal through expression and connection. Elisa co-founded the Voice and Trauma Research & Connection Group and Monti Bianchi Performance Wellness, and collaborates with partners like the Helou Lab (University of Pittsburgh), Voice Study Centre, and New York Speech Pathology. We’re thrilled for her to lead VSI as we continue bringing live, one-on-one music to patients in highly isolated care settings.
