As the summer winds down, join us for three horticulture workshops that will get you reconnected to nature and ready for the fall. For tree lovers and the tree curious, we have a virtual workshop on Thursday, Sept. 25, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., featuring staff from NYC Parks Tree Time who will explain how to get involved in current tree stewardship efforts across the boroughs. We also have an in-person tree care workshop on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m to 12 p.m., in partnership with Trees New York, for those who want to get their hands dirty. For native plant enthusiasts or those who want to learn more, we have a virtual workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. featuring Anil Chandrakumar, Brooklyn horticulture supervisor at NYC Parks, who will discuss how to design and implement native plantings.
