KIDS RISE FUND Kids Rise Fund is a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to strengthen communities and support kids and families by promoting inclusion encouraging friendships and addressing barriers to individual success. Our Story Founded in 2020 as a small familyrun organization Kids Rise Fund was created by theStohrHendrickson family and members of their care team to support children with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs as well as their extended families school and community networks. Founders Whitney Stohr and Jason Hendrickson were inspired to launch Kids Rise Fund as a charitable organization following their experience supporting their son Malachi who was born in 2018 with developmental disabilities that required extensive medical intervention and treatment. Now six years old Malachi is thriving within his community and currently serves as a Youth Member of the Kids Rise Fund Board of Directors alongside his younger sibling DJ.
