🎞✨ A few of the storytellers behind IN TRANSIT ✨🎞 As we continue our film festival rollout, we’re thrilled to introduce some more of the visionary artists bringing these stories of transformation, memory, and motion to life. 🎨 Lark Chang-Yeh — a stop-motion and scratch film animator who rummages through archives, family footage, and cultural memory to create trans* works that are transgenerational, transgressive, and transformational. 🎞 Rosalyn Farney & Joanne Kim — the creative duo behind 1/__, blending animation and sound to explore rhythm, structure, and the sensory possibilities of the moving image. 🌊 Myles Garza — an Austin-based filmmaker whose “sci-fi surf rock cowboy” lens draws from his Corpus Christi roots, exploring the human condition through genre-bending storytelling. 🪡 Ngan Hoang — a Vietnamese multidisciplinary artist and designer whose emotive, neo-expressionist work transforms healing and storytelling into collective practice, weaving together design, identity, and connection. 🕯️Devin Alejandro-Wilder — an interdisciplinary artist, performer, and filmmaker exploring identity, myth, and embodiment through material, movement, and memory. Their work expands underwitnessed queer, disabled, and Latinx histories while reclaiming body and story through radical acts of both play and protest.
