Kim has volunteered with us for years and has earned the trust of the sheep (even Eva!). If you know sheep you know they’re always skeptical and ready to run…but not around Kim 💜 If you’re interested in trying to earn their trust too…. Volunteer with Farmaste! We are in need of Animal Care volunteers for weekly AM and PM shifts and barn cleaners. Our biggest needs are Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings. Animal Care volunteer tasks include letting out or closing in the residents, feeding, stall cleaning, refreshing water, and observing animal behavior/health for potential problems. These tasks typically take 2 (evening shift) - 4 (morning shift) hours. Reach out to info@farmaste.org to learn more. Barn cleaning typically occurs Saturday morning from 9:30-12:30. There is no regular commitment required for barn cleaning - you can sign up to come once or weekly! Ages 12+ willing to work hard are welcome. (12-16 parent required.)
