Evergreen Weekly Update – Let the May Fun Begin! May is off to a seriously fun start, and we’ve got three awesome ways to hang out, try something new, and make new friends with Evergreen this week. Whether you’re crafty, competitive, or just curious—there’s something for everyone. As always, Evergreen events are free to join, open to all adults, and welcoming to families too! Outdoor Art Night Tuesday, May 6 | 6–8PM Greilickville Harbor Park, 13133 S W Bay Shore Dr, Traverse City Art, nature, and free pizza—yes please! We’re kicking off our summer Outdoor Art Nights at the beautiful bayside Greilickville Harbor Park. Come sketch, paint, doodle, or just vibe in the grass with friends. Bring any art supplies and creative projects you like—we’ll bring pizza, picnic vibes, and good company. Kids are welcome too! Let’s Play Games and Fun Friday May 9 | 6–8PM Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Grand Traverse, 6726 Center Rd, Traverse City Game on! Whether you’re into fast-paced cards, classic board games, or just making memories with friends, this night’s for you. Bring a snack to share if you can, and feel free to bring your favorite game, too. All ages welcome. No experience needed—just bring your best (or worst) poker face and a snack to pass if you’d like. Mesick Mushroom Festival Saturday, May 10 | 1–5PM Mesick Lions Mushroom Festival, 6424 M-37, Mesick We’re heading to one of Northern Michigan’s quirkiest and most beloved spring festivals! Think flea markets, fried mushrooms, carnival snacks, and lots of local flavor. No schedule, no pressure—just explore and enjoy at your own pace.
