The IRC is dedicated to increasing public awareness of the importance of Lifespan Respite. Follow for news on respite care and resources across Illinois. The IRC provides services to families and providers in the state of Illinois needing information, resources, and training relative to Lifespan Respite, and the IRC offers In-Home respite through a DHS funded grant. INCREASING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF "LIFESPAN RESPITE", PROMOTING EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR FAMILIES AND PROVIDERS OF RESPITE SERVICES AND ADVOCATING SUPPORT FOR CAREGIVERS.
