Ballet Idaho is deeply honored to receive the 2025 Mayor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts, presented by Mayor McLean and Boise City Department of Arts & History. This recognition is a reflection of the extraordinary artistry and dedication of our dancers, staff, and the community that supports and believes in our work (and especially you, our beloved attendees and followers). We are equally inspired by our fellow awardees: Frank Goitia, Serenata Orchestra, Gwyn Hervochon, Alex Sjobcek, Derek Ganong and the Gene Harris All-Stars Jazz Program at Boise State University, Esther and Skip Oppenheimer, Hallie Maxwell, and Mark Hofflund with Idaho Shakespeare Festival, whose vision and talent continue to enrich Boise’s cultural landscape. We feel so privileged to stand alongside each of these remarkable leaders in the arts and history of our city. Special thanks to JUMP Boise, and their wonderful staff for hosting the event and providing such a beautiful venue for us to enjoy. We are so grateful for you.
