Behind every decision about environmental impact whether by manufacturers product designers community members policy makers or others is a scientific assessment of the nature and extent of impact. Our independent role is to provide and promote the scientific underpinnings of decisions about health risks and to ensure that health is primarily valued in the decisionmaking framework.
