⭐ Air-Cooled Classics Tribute: 1971 Porsche 911T ⭐ When a Porsche more than just a sweet ride...“All work was done by myself or my late son and late wife.” In 2008 Bob Kever bought a 911T with no engine, in rough shape, then got busy on its restoration. He took it apart, stripped paint, repaired and replaced what was needed, and from 2010-2011 built both a work shop and rotisserie to keep working on his Porsche. By 2011, metalwork was finished and Bob headed to Chicago to buy a used motor —that was in eight boxes. Once the engine was reassembled and installed he ran electrical wiring and started to finish the bodywork. All of Bob’s progress ended from 2015-2018 after the death of his son. Once he was ready, Bob completed body details and painted his car, then finished the interior and Targa top. Then his wife became terminally ill in 2020. Bob continues to make minor tweaks on his Porsche. RIR is delighted that he’ll bring it to park with the other Air-Cooled Classics on July 26! 👍 🚨 Downtown parking is over 50% full.
