Last week, we gathered for our annual Foster and Adoptive Parent Appreciation Dinner — a meaningful tradition that honors the incredible caregivers who open their hearts and homes to children with complex needs. 💙 We currently have 52 foster and adoptive parents. While not everyone could attend, this event was an opportunity to celebrate all of them for the stability, love, and hope they bring to our children every day. This tradition began nearly 20 years ago and has grown into something truly special, thanks to the heart and dedication of our Child Welfare team. These staff members walk alongside families through some of life’s most challenging moments and continue to show up with care, strength, and compassion. As Ivan, our Executive Director of Child Welfare, shared: “I want to thank our amazing foster and adoptive parents for choosing to make a difference in the lives of our youth, especially those with challenging special needs. Their hard work and dedication are deeply appreciated.
