We told you this year was going to be special... We are so proud to announce that Tony-winning stage legend, Bill Irwin will be joining the performers of OneLove OneTheater Gala 2025! 💥 From his roots in vaudeville and the American circus renaissance, to appearing in children's classics like Popeye and Sesame Street; to starring alongside Steve Martin and Robin Williams in Lincoln Center's Waiting for Godot; to his role in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? opposite Kathleen Turner, which earned him a Tony Award for Best Actor; among countless other theater, TV, and film credits; Irwin is clearly an incredibly versatile artist—but did you know that he also has a personal history with Molière? Together with Mark O'Donnell, Irwin adapted Molière's Scapin the Schemer and went on to direct and star in several productions of the play across the country. In an exclusive performance for our Gala guests, Bill will be revisiting his old friend Jean-Baptiste. Get ready for his unique take on Moliere's archetypal buffoon MASCARILLE, only on October 6 at Littlefield! Do you have your ticket? 🎭 #moliere #brooklyn #theater #theatre #nyctheater #nycevents #nycplaces #brooklynevents #freenyc #nycforfree #nycnonprofit #moliereinthepark (fb)

Home Productions Mission Support Us 2024 Report More CREATING FREE THEATER IN PROSPECT PARK EXPANDING ACCESS TO ALL Upcoming Events A note from our Board President Kaliswa BrewsterWhat does a theater space where everyone feels welcome and at home look like. We are thrilled to be able to keep bringing free productions to Brooklyns backyard Prospect Park. In this time of division and unrest we believe that live theater can unite and heal. Molires plays written in France 350 years ago may seem like unlikely vehicles to look at the social and political issues of our times but surprisingly they always question confront provoke and demand that we pay attention.
