At a time when human rights violations are on the increase in conflict zones, Equitas gathered and coordinated a working group of human rights defenders from several countries to research this essential lever of human rights education. HREA is offering a new online course "Implementing Human Rights at the Local Level" from September 10 -October 21. The course, which will be taught by Corey Barr, is designed to equip municipal leaders, local human rights commissions, CSOs and community advocates with knowledge and tools to implement international human rights law and a human rights-based approach at the local level.
