Why Does the East County Summit 2025 Matter? Every two years, the East County Summit unites 200+ community members, organizers, and leaders from East Portland to Gresham to Wood Village for a full day of learning, action, and building power. East County is one of Oregon’s most diverse regions, but it’s being targeted by divisive, well-funded campaigns. East County Rising Community Projects Our Mission East County Rising Community Projects is a grassroots organization energizing East Multnomah County residents to create equitable livable communities centering underrepresented marginalized people. Research Facilitate research and analysis on local issues affecting communities in East Multnomah County in partnership with labor civic groups and government. Organize Create new opportunities for neighbours to work with neighbours and together imagine and create a fair and healthy community. Advocate Build coalitions and mobilize residents to win the policy changes and resources we need to thrive.
