MDPCF board members had a busy day yesterday! Event 1: Sweating for a cause! Yesterday, President & Founder, Jackki Kennedy and VP Taleah Kennedy-Alston partnered with friends & ardent supporters of the The MDP Cancer Fund Vaughn & Jamie Stevens. Vaughn is a licensed personal trainer & owner of Higher Purpose Fitness, LLC, and put his mission in action by teaching a fitness class to benefit a friend currently being treated for breast cancer. What a wonderful and impactful way to help someone in need! Event 2: The fun didn’t stop there, as Board members Asi’a Darring and Taleah later attended the Pink Gumbo benefit concert for breast cancer hosted by Shannon Lolley and 3G management. Local artists dazzled the crowd as funds were raised to help the community with the DE Breast Coalition. What a wonderful day full of love, support & hope!
