Lighthouse Rescue Mission Home Our Focus What We Do About Us Donate Contact More Lighthouse Rescue Mission A BEACON OF HOPE IN OUR COMMUNITY A Storyof Hope The story of the Lighthouse Rescue mission began in 2004 as a group of passionate volunteers and a collection of local churches sought a solution to the homeless issue in Tulare. The mission statement for the organization is We embrace the poor and homeless with the compassion of Jesus Christas a beacon hope and healing for a changed lifehelping them to find their way home. Through the faithful and generous support of our community the initial effort produced the Lighthouse Women39s Shelter in 2006. In 2019 we expanded to offer Men39s programs also.
