🌊 We’re thrilled to announce that our educational program now features dynamic, hands-on learning materials developed by the incredible team at Inwater Research Group! To kick off this exciting new chapter, we recently hosted two of our very first sessions with the updated programming. The North St. John’s Classical Conversations Home School Community and the 3rd/4th grade students from Spring River School enjoyed a fun-filled day of outdoor learning, diving into the fascinating world of sea turtles and wrapping up with a meaningful beach cleanup experience. Promoting the conservation of endangered and threatened marine turtles in Northeast Florida ABOUT BSTP Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol BSTP is making the world a better place for sea turtles on Jacksonvilles beaches. We document strandings for the Sea Turtle Stranding and Salvage Network and transport debilitated turtles to rehab facilities. Holding a permit issued by Florida Wildlife Commission FWC BSTP performs foot patrols conducts nesting surveys and protects marine sea turtles. We proudly serve the beaches as a 501c3 awardwinning nonprofit organization.
