Meet Luisa, she is the first Sacred Paws facility dog serving at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital’s adult campus 🐾 With her quiet strength, gentle nature, and patient heart, Luisa brings comfort and companionship to adults receiving care in the inpatient cancer unit and ICU. Alongside her handler, she spends her days lifting spirits and offering calm during some of life’s most difficult moments. Luisa’s presence was made possible thanks to the Grand Chapter of the Florida Order of the Eastern Star and other generous donors who helped expand the Sacred Paws program beyond our children’s hospital, for the very first time.
