Hey Peekskill Area friends! We are excited to share that Stop & Shop has selected Something Good in the World again this summer, to benefit from the Community Bag Program throughout the month of August! Every time a $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at the Stop & Shop located at 1831 East Main Street, Peekskill NY, $1 will be donated to SGITW. This is a great way to broaden awareness of our mission and help our cause! Each year that Stop & Shop donates, we receive enough to run a 2-hour outdoor education program, free of charge to the schools, day care centers, and shelters in Westchester! It's a great community program... Thank you for helping support us in this very simple way! :) (fb)

The mission of Something Good in the World is to provide a safe and enhancing environment wherein children may be promoted to achieve their highest potential in learning and development and to prepare them toward becoming responsible human beings ready to take on the challenges of life. The Other Refugees Unaccompanied children from Central America are seeking asylum in the United States and have nowhere to go. What can we do. Perhaps it is not about what we do but what 9th Annual Energy Of Youth Performing world music that is inspiring and accessible for youngpeople has been an annual theme for this benefit concert which is performed by children ages 818.
