We promote understanding and peace by providing resources and education on bullying, prejudice, conflict resolution, and peace. Our goal is to help individuals and communities break harmful cycles and create a kinder world. From school bullying and shootings, from race related abuse to cultural denigration, from violence on the street to violence on the battlefield, children worldwide need to learn skills to deal with the rising conflicts in their lives. The Atrium Society has worked since 1985 with world-renowned educational philosopher, Dr Terrence Webster-Doyle, to develop Youth Peace Literacy Biocognetic Education, which includes the innovative Youth Peace Literacy MAP S.T.A.R.S Youth at Risk and the MAP S.T.A.R.S. Life Skills programs to teach young people the necessary skills to understand and resolve conflict peacefully. These programs are based on modern scientific research, which reveals that the human mind is structurally conditioned to create conflict.
