If you were out on the boardwalk Sunday and wondering what on earth those people were doing...those people were us! We're Whitewater 101 and we aim to introduce people to the world of whitewater kayaking. For each session that we do we have what's called our Swift Water Rescue Day led by instructor Scott Brown. While learning how to actually be in your boat is obviously part of the class, we also focus on being safe on the river. River safety is key to not only the obvious (getting everyone home at the end of the day) but making it a fun experience as well. Sunday we practiced a few key skills but throwing ropes is always a favorite! Keep following along for more fun content with our class.
