Our July Member Highlight!!! Virginia began showing Airedales in 1974 in Southern California. Her dogs are owner handled. She is a member of the Airedale Terrier Club of America, past president and current board member, California Airedale Terrier Club, past president and current vice president. Northern California Terrier Association, past president current vice president. For all of these clubs she has also served in many other capacities including show chair. She joined San Joaquin Kennel Club in 1992, has served as Secretary since 2000 and show chair since 2010. In 1995, Virginia applied to judge and is approved to judge the Terrier group and several working breeds. She has judged the Airedale Terrier Club of America National Specialty twice as well as many local Terrier specialties. She has judged in Australia, Taiwan, Sweden, Russia and Poland. While she thinks judging is an exciting challenge her primary focus is the whelping box and show ring as an exhibitor.
