We’re proud to announce the appointment of Alyssa Carlson, MD as Boulder Community Health’s new Chief Medical Officer (CMO)! A longtime member of the BCH family, Dr. Carlson began her journey with us in 2001 as a volunteer and later as a Unit Clerk and Patient Care Associate. Since completing her family medicine residency in 2012, she has served patients across our community through Dakota Ridge Primary Care and Anchor Point Primary Care, while also leading systemwide initiatives to improve clinical quality, care coordination and population health. A Boulder native, Dr. Carlson shared: “My focus will remain on reinvesting in the health of our community by supporting our providers, strengthening our health system and ensuring that our patients receive timely, coordinated, exceptional care in this wonderful community we call home.” Please join us in congratulating Dr. Carlson as she steps into this new leadership role and continues to advance BCH’s mission of delivering equitable, high-quality care to our community.
