The Dominican Order's fundraising office in the United States of America for efforts in Rome, Jerusalem, and Cairo, serving the Church throughout the world. The International Dominican Foundation supports the patrimony of the Order of Preachers for future generations of clergy and laypersons in advancing Biblical, Theological and Inter-religious research through its institutions across the world. Three of the projects supported by IDF include the Ecole Biblique founded in 1890 in Jerusalem, the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (The Angelicum) in Rome and the Dominican Institute or Oriental Studies in Cairo. The International Dominican Foundation supports these projects and others designated by the Master of the Dominican Order through collaborative outreach in the United States, through the solicitation and the management of assets, and the promotion of the works of these institutions furthering the Dominican tradition.
