Congratulations to Foundation board member Wanda Musgrave and her husband, Bill, recipients of the 2025 Junaluska Leadership Award for their many years of service to the Lake Junaluska Assembly. The award honors those who advance the mission of Lake Junaluska Assembly through acts of love, leadership, and giving. Few have served as faithfully as the Musgraves. Among her many roles, Wanda chaired the steering committee for the Sharing Our Gifts capital campaign. Bill sat on the Lake Junaluska board for nine years, including as chair and member of several committees. The Musgrave Event Lawn, made possible by their generosity, sits next to the Warren Center and hosts wedding receptions, reunions and the like. The Musgraves now reside mostly in Charlotte, where their home church is Providence UMC. But they return to the mountains every chance they get. "This is where Bill and I come to be filled up and renewed; and it never disappoints in being our ‘happy place’,” Wanda said. “We are blessed beyond measure to be a part of this amazing place called Lake Junaluska.” (fb)
