Some sad news to report: Will "Bill" Simpson, who served on ILRCSF's Executive Board, including a stint as Board President, has passed away. Will was smart, thoughtful, fierce, imaginative, kind, and funny as all get-out. As ILRCSF's Board President he brought to the table a wealth of knowledge about healthcare (he was a Registered Nurse), the benefits system, and his own experience as a person living with multiple disabilities. The photo posted below, of a smiling Will wearing a dark cap and a dark cable-knit pullover sweater over a salmon-colored Oxford shirt, while holding a small, white dog in his arms, captures Will's energy really well. Through his work in healthcare, the NFP sector, and as a private consultant, Will touched many, many lives and helped many people achieve all kinds of goals. He will be missed. (fb)
