Yesterday’s kidney donor lives a busy life. He is a long-time Lakewood Rebbi now starting his 25th year of teaching at the Tashbar Yeshiva in #Lakewood. In the afternoon, he runs a program at the Lakewood Cheder. Furthermore, he is consulted by many educators and uses his experience to help others. If that is not enough, he is a therapist who runs a private practice. With his grueling almost 11th month Lakewood school year, he has about 4 weeks to unwind and relax. This year, these weeks were given up to surgery and recovery as this Litvish Lakewood Rebbi donated to a Sefardi Persian woman from Great Neck. She was called the day she was slated to get a procedure to start dialysis to instead be in the operating room to receive a new healthy kidney! #kidneykindness #newkidneylife @renewalnews (fb)
