A final thought on voting. At the end of the day, I hope you will remember what the Earth looks like from outer space. That everyone is on the same ship. Ultimately, we need to all work together to survive as a species. If we want the human species to survive then we need to make decisions that will continue to support human life on the planet. Nature does not have arbitrary borders. The planet will survive with or without us. Attention: Maine Bound participants past and present! If you ever did a trip or worked with Maine Bound please read. This year marks to 40th anniversary of the formalization of Maine Bound at UMaine and we are celebrating. Join us on Friday, October 18th for a first ever Maine Bound Reunion. Happy hour starts at 4:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 5:30 - all on campus. On Saturday, October 19th you can join Kevin Slater or I for an adventure. Yes, we are still out there doing it! Kevin will be leading a paddling trip on the Penobscot and I will be heading up a climbing day in Acadia. If you have forgotten how to climb or paddle - no worries we will take care of you and make it fun. Or you can just hang out with old friends.
